I hear something at my door, immediately followed by a Ding Dong! So, I rush over to see who it is. To my surprise it is not a who, but rather a what!
What could be inside this big box? Maybe it is a big clown about to jump out and scare me! Or maybe it’s a big box of candy!! There is only one way to find out… I hurry and drag the box up to my room, I open the box slowly trying to peek inside.
Would you look at that?! Alice in Wonderland figurines!! The gang is all here!! Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit and who could forget, Alice!!
I close my eyes and imagine what wonderful adventures Alice would have in Wonderland. Meeting the white rabbit, having tea parties, so many things to see!
I continue to imagine when suddenly I am faced with GIANT Flamingos!! Wait?! How did they get here? How strange, I wonder. Perhaps I should try to ask them for some directions back to my bedroom.
The flamingos do not seem to be very helpful just standing there on one leg looking around. So I decide to try to find my way. I come across a rather large building, but the building begins to move.. and TALK!! Uhhh... uhh. Hello?!, the building says. "Can you please go inside and find out how to get me out of here?" Oh dear! I must help this poor house, so I hurry inside.
What a peculiar place this is, not what I expected to find but I made a promise and I am going to try to help the talking house one way or another. First, I stop and talk with a Caterpillar "Who R U?" I try to explain what happened and he seems to not be of must help. So I decide to try and find someone else.
Next, I come across a funny looking man having a tea party. He invites me to tea! Who could say no when there are so many treats and such a silly way to have tea. I try asking the funny looking man if he is able to help, but he just keeps telling me that it is always tea time! I think I better look elsewhere.
I come across some talking cards, "Curiouser and curiouser!" I am not really sure why they are painting the roses but at this point, I am confused about much of everything. Finally I find a lady, as big as a Mommy so she must be the one who can help! She simply yells and points at me "OFF WITH HER HEAD!!" Oh no... I close my eyes tightly, I don't like this place any more....
Wow!! That was quite the day dream! I open my eyes slowly finding myself cuddling with my kitty. I am so happy that wasn't real, perhaps I don't want to be Alice in Wonderland after all.
That was quite the adventure. I think I better go and rest, as I snuggle into my comfy bed.
