♥ Blog 8: Giraffing Me Crazy at the Zoo

One of my favorite places to be, The ZOO!

Had to stop for a quick picture with the Zoo's new sign!

*throws up her lil fingers and smiles big*

My first visit was with the Giraffes! I think they are so amazing reaching high into the trees to pick their most favorite leaves. But as I watched, the baby giraffe was so sad, she couldnt reach the tall leaves. As all the others continued to pick the best leaves, baby giraffe just had to wait for them to fall to the ground. I had to do something... but what...

I got it! I Googled a few silly jokes, those always cheer me up, I bet they will work!

Q: What do you get when two giraffes collide? A: A giraffic jam.
Q: What is a giraffe’s favorite fruit? A: Necktarines.

I did it! The baby giraffe was giggling like crazy. *wipes her hands* On to the next animals.

Lets monkey around!! My favorite animals at the zoo because they are always so silly and friendly. I wish I could jump in and play with them, wouldn't we have the best time!

Google never fails! I find the best monkey jokes to tell my hairy friends.

Q: What kind of a key opens a banana? A: A monkey!

Q: What do you tell a bad monkey? A: Stop chimping about.

We all crack up laughing at the silly jokes! LOL I sit and watch the monkeys for a little while longer before moving to the next animal. Who to visit next!?

My Sara! What is she doing here?! I am so happy to run into her. She is visiting with the wolves, they are so sleek today. I wonder if they get baths (EWWW!) but the mommy wolf's fur is so beautiful. Sara and I find a little hole in the fence, do we dare??

We sneak in! No one will believe us, I just know it. I hurry and set my camera so we can get a picture with the beautiful wolf. Just as the camera snaps *wolf growls* UHOH!!! I think we have overstayed our (not so) welcome. RUNNNN!!!!

We make it home safe and sound, Whew! What a day! I tell my sheepy all about my day with the animals. Sheepy is the best listener, especially when I had a BIG BIG day!

Another adventure day in the books, exhausted as I drift off to sleep.

♥ Blog 7: A Baby's New Dimples

One bright, beautiful spring day, when the earth was fresh in its new green dress decked with flowers, while the birds sang their sweetest songs, and the brooks babbled merrily on their way to the rivers, two wee dimples were sent by Mother Nature on a journey to find their work in the world.

It was a delightful journey through the blue sky and past the fleecy white clouds.

They played and danced with the sunbeams who led them on their way to the earth.

The dimples could see nothing for them to do, so on they went, frolicking and playing.

At last they found themselves among the trees and the bright flowers of the earth.

They chased the sunbeams under the leaves, they rode on the butterflies' wings, they sipped the honey with the bees from the flowers. Still, they could find nothing to do. The sunbeams bade the dimples good-by and silently crept home. "Oh," said the dimples, "what shall we do? We have no place to rest tonight." "Here is a bird's nest; let us rest in this," said one dimple. "No, that will never do," said the other dimple, "for there is the mother bird, who rests in her nest all night."

Just then they spied a window swing open on its hinges. The tiny stars came out and peeped into the window, and the lady-moon sent silvery moonbeams down to help the dimples find a resting place. Then the dimples flew through the window, and there, close by, in her crib, curtained around with white, was a wee baby, rosy, sweet, and bright.

"Oh," said one dimple, "I would love to rest on that rosy cheek." "So would I," said the other dimple. And they each took a rosy cheek for a couch, and here they rested the whole night long.

The robins early in the dawn sat on the cheery boughs and sang loud and long, thus waking the dimples, who now knew not what to do. "But," said one dimple, "we have not yet found our work." The other dimple said: "Let us stay here. Baby's eyes are opening, and we must hide," and each dimple nestled away in baby's cheeks. Then her big, blue eyes opened wide, to see the sunbeams that had crept through the windows to her crib.

The sunbeams coaxed the dimples to come out and play, but the dimples would only peep out, and when they did, they brought smiles around baby's rosy lips and sunny eyes.

"So you have found your work at last," said the sunbeams. And they had, for they helped to bring out the smiles in baby's cheeks. If you look the next time you see baby you may see the dimples playing hide and seek.

♥ Blog 6: Shopping is a girl's best friend

Today was a shopping kind of day! I ran over to Baby Sunshine to pick up one of the FREE gifts so that I could go shopping in style. I love how much room there is going to be for all of my shopping bags and even room to bring a friend!

I put all my best shopping bags and things in the back so that I could be ready. Just because you shop, doesn't mean you have to be wasteful, so I always bring my own bags with me.

Me and my bunny hopped in the car *squeals* WE LOVE SHOPPING!!! (I know you can't see bunny he was slouching but you will see him later!)

Vroom - Off we go!

We park right out side the store, Woot!! Front row parking at Sweet Hearts! They always have the best parking when we go shopping here. That or we are just super lucky, either way I always feel like a VIP!

Deals, Deals and More Deals - Oh and FREE GIFTIES here too!!! This is the BEST DAY EVER!

I think we shopped till we dropped!! Whew!

Getting ready for my Mommy's special day, Mother's Day!

First I colored on my Bunny Chalkboard an extra special message just for her. I worked the hardest on the love heart, I hope she loves it!

I even mostly cleaned up my room just for her, I hope she is so happy with me.

She is here!!

Mommy's snuggles are the best! We got to talk about our day and I got to tell her how much I really love her.

What an amazing way to end our evening, story time! This one is about a baby bunny. Little bunnies make the best stories of all.
